Education: Studied economics from Columbia University, where he learned value investing from Benjamin Graham


Start of investment career

1956: Buffett Partnership Ltd. Started an investment firm named Berkshire Hathaway

1965: Acquired textile company Berkshire Hathaway and turned it into an investment holding company

Through Berkshire, he invested in many successful companies – Coca-Cola, American Express, GEICO, Apple etc

Value Investing: He invests in companies that are undervalued by the market
